Lidia Beck ist eine Sängerin und Komponistin, die vor allem durch ihre Arbeit mit dem Basler Indie-/Folk-Duo Lost in Lona bekannt ist. Die Band ist in der Schweizer und europäischen Musikszene aktiv. Im Herbst 2026 werden sie nach der Veröffentlichung ihres zweiten Albums „The Killer“ auf Deutschlandtour gehen.
Lidia Beck is a singer and composer well-known for her work with Basel-based indie/folk duo Lost in Lona, who are active in the Swiss and European music scene. In atumn 2026 they will tour Germany after the release of their 2nd album, "The Killer".
Die Schweizer Harfenistin Giovanna Pessi zählt zu den profiliertesten Interpretinnen Alter Musik und zeitgenössischer Werke für historische Harfen. Besonders bekannt ist sie für ihre Zusammenarbeit mit der Sängerin Susanne Abbuehl und ihre ECM-Aufnahmen, in denen sie die Barockharfe in neue Klangwelten führt. Für dieses Konzert treten Giovanna Pessi und Marco Ambrosini als langjähriges Duo wieder gemeinsam auf. Ambrosini ist einer der führenden Virtuosen auf der Nyckelharpa.
The Swiss harpist Giovanna Pessi is among the most distinguished interpreters of early music and contemporary works for historical harps. She is especially renowned for her collaborations with singer Susanne Abbuehl and for her ECM recordings, in which she leads the Baroque harp into new sonic territories. For this concert, Giovanna Pessi and Marco Ambrosini reunite as a long-standing duo. Ambrosini is one of the leading virtuosos of the nyckelharpa.
AINO SALTO X 3YOONI
Aino Salto, geboren in Frankreich, aufgewachsen in Leipzig und heute in Bern lebend, ist eine vielseitige Musikerin. Aino Salto schöpft musikalisch das Projekt aus Flügelhorn, Kontrabass, Keys, Schlagzeug und einer Stimme, die zwischen Zartheit und eruptiver Kraft oszilliert. Gemeinsam mit erfahrenen Mitmusiker:innen wie Paul Butscher, Luzius Schuler, Tabea Kind, Dave Flütsch und Sonia entfaltet Aino Salto eine Musik voller Energie, Aufrichtigkeit und Eigenwilligkeit. Ihr Ziel ist es, Songs zu schaffen, die trotz aller Krisen nicht resignieren, sondern Hoffnung und Lebendigkeit vermitteln.
Aino Salto, born in France, raised in Leipzig, and now based in Bern, is a versatile musician. Her project draws its sound from flugelhorn, double bass, keys, drums, and a voice that oscillates between delicate sensitivity and eruptive power. Together with experienced collaborators such as Paul Butscher, Luzius Schuler, Tabea Kind, Dave Flütsch and Sonia, Aino Salto creates music full of energy, sincerity, and individuality. Her aim is to craft songs that, despite all crises, do not give in to despair but convey hope and vitality.
Yassin Mahdi ist in der irakischen Hauptstadt Bagdad geboren. Aufgrund des Krieges fliehen seine Eltern mit seiner kleinen Schwester und ihm aus dem Irak und kommen in die Schweiz. Hier erlebt er als Person of Color Erfahrungen des Otherings. So überrascht es nicht, dass es in seinem Musikprojekt 3YOONI um die kritische Durchleuchtung von Konzepten wie Identität, Sprache, Rassismus und Orientalismus geht. Musikalisch treffen dabei elektronische Beats und Synthesizer auf traditionell arabische Rhythmen, eine Oud und verträumten Gesang in irakisch-arabischer Sprache.
Yassin Mahdi was born in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Due to the war, his parents fled the country with him and his younger sister, eventually arriving in Switzerland. There, he experienced the realities of being Othered as a person of color. It is therefore no surprise that his music project, 3YOONI, critically explores concepts such as identity, language, racism, and Orientalism. Musically, electronic beats and synthesizers meet traditional Arabic rhythms, the oud, and dreamy vocals in Iraqi Arabic.
